The Wish List

The King family is having guests for lunch. Mom has prepared three large pans of pizza. Savory aromas fill the air. Everyone takes a seat at the table—everyone but Ben and his best friend, Liam. The others start eating without them. When the two boys come late to the table, Ben is disappointed because his favorite pizza is all eaten up. That’s not what he expected! That evening at family devotions, Dad has a plan. He asks each family member to express their wish for how mealtimes can be more pleasant, and together they create a wish list.
